Michigan-based couture designer Katerina Bocci is launching her 2013 luxury bridal gown collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week Oct. 13-15 at the Couture Show. The Couture Show takes place at the Hilton New York Hotel (1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York 10019).
Katerina Bocci’s 2013 collection pays homage to the Princess next door. This season’s collection features show-stopping ball gowns and breath-taking feminine silhouettes, combined with the superb fit Bocci is known for. Her hand-sewn craftsmanship and innovative, avant-garde designs are luxurious, appealing to even the most discerning brides-to-be.
“I design for the real bride-to-be who wants to feel like a Princess on the most important day of her life,” says Bocci. “I want to accentuate a woman’s beautiful body while using the most luxurious fabrics and flourishes, so she feels absolutely gorgeous on her special day.”
Born in Albania, and educated in Italy, Katerina Bocci approaches her designs both with passion and technical expertise. The end result is a romantic collection fit for royalty – it is sumptuous and classic, yet a touch unrestrained.
Bocci’s fifth bridal collection aims to encompass each brides’ unique sense of style, featuring opulent finishes such as impeccable hand beading, silk roses and glamorous belts made with Swarovski trim and stones. She uses only the finest fabrics, including 100-percent silk shantung, silk organza, silk taffeta, Duchess silk and tulle in an array of whites, ivories, creams, and on-trend color, Chai. The 2013 collection features a range of designs suitable for the most formal affairs; chic, city weddings; and dresses perfect for destination and outdoor ceremonies.
