MICHAEL PARK (Three Penny Opera, How To Succeed) and COLIN HANLON (Modern Family, Rent) will lead the reading of Paul and Michael Hodge's production of the new musical comedy CLINTON THE MUSICAL on Friday, April 25th. This new play, directed by NYMF veteran Adam Arian (Fantasy Football, Arnie the Doughnut), with music direction by James Cunningham (White Christmas Nat'l Tour) is part of the NYMF 2014. Please visit www.nymf.org for tickets and info.

CLINTON was nominated for Best New Musical and Best Book at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the one act version of the show, which has since grown to a full two-act show. Using Clinton's autobiography as inspiration, where he describes leading "two parallel lives," Bill Clinton is presented as two people by two different actors.

The new musical comedy CLINTON portrays our former President as two "Bills", who help, hinder and heckle each other in their struggle with marriage, impeachment, the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, Hillary and each other. It also deals with their quest to save their presidency and change America.

Michael Park and Colin Hanlon lead the cast, which includes Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), Tom Souhrada (Mary Poppins), Stephen Bienskie (Silence! The Musical), Natalie Gallo (Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!), Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical, Gayby), and William Youmans (Wicked, Titanic). They portray characters that include the two Bill Clintons, Hilary Rodham Clinton, Newt Gingrich, Kenneth Starr, Monica Lewinsky, Eleanor Roosevelt and Dick Morris.

The new musical CLINTON will run in the NYMF 2014 The Festival runs from July 7th - July 27th. Schedule for CLINTON is soon to be announced. For more information, please visit www.nymf.org.
