Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC) & TGW Acting Studio present THE TAMING OF THE SHREW from today, July 10 - August 3, 2014, at the Rose Nagelberg Theatre & directed by THOMAS G. WAITES. Assistant to the director is Lisa Greenberg, Fight Choreographer is David Brimmer, with Set & Lighting Design by Jasmine Nicole Roberts, Costume Design by Rebecca Welles & Stage Management by Kayla Santos. Featured in the production will be live music by Juilliard Alumni.

Starring MICHAEL MOSS as Petruchio & ELISSA KLIE as Katherine, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW also features Yohance Alleyne, Michelle Blazer, Eric Cruz, Daniel Damiano, Mary Doyle, Taylor Freeman, Cedric Allen Hills, Jennifer Kalajian, James Luse, Ilaria Malvezzi, Isaac Allen Miller, Jakob Minevich, Melissa Molerio, Alexandra Montgomery, Vanessa Munley, Anna Nikitina , Jay Reum, Bryan Russo, Ralph Schneider & Josh Walter.
THOMAS G. WAITES was under option to Paramount as an actor at 23. On stage, he worked with Al Pacino in the original Off- Broadway production of American Buffalo, leaving after a year to do John Carpenter's The Thing with Kurt Russell. He also appeared on Broadway with Frances McDormand in Awake and Sing. Waites recently received national acclaim for his short film Pandora's Box, winning Best Director & Best Screenplay for a Short Film in the Atlantic City Film Festival. Internationally acclaimed actress Frances Fisher (Titanic, The Lincoln Lawyer, House of Sand & Fog) won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film & Joe Mantegna ("Criminal Minds") was nominated for Best Actor.
