59E59 Theaters has announced the fifth play of the 5A Season. SONGBIRD, written by Michael Kimmel with music & lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, and directed by JV Mercanti. Produced by Allison Bressi and Diana Buckhantz, SONGBIRD begins performances on October 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 29. SONGBIRD features a sultry soundtrack that pays homage to music and lyricist writer Lauren Pritchard's Nashville roots. Featuring heartbreaking ballads and soaring anthems, SONGBIRD is a thrilling addition to the 5A season.
