In Episode 402 of "Something New" -- a podcast that interviews theatre artists and premieres original songs -- award-winning musical theatre writer Joel B. New sat down with not one but two guests: Michael Gilboe, host of "Broadway Bullet"; and James Ludwig, co-host of "The Happy Hour Guys."

Having recently returned from a five-year hiatus, Broadway Bullet originated in 2006 as the official podcast of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Since then, they continued as a weekly podcast with interviews, musical performances and commentary with the everyone from the brightest Broadway talent to the rising stars of the New York theatre scene and beyond.

In "The Happy Hour Guys," Mark Aldrich and James Ludwig travel to historic, unique, and remarkable bars and share their stories, the people behind favorite drinks, and the communities served by these Third Places. The Happy Hour Guys: Laugh, Learn, Drink.

For the live song portion of the episode, James Ludwig (SPAMALOT) performed the title song from Joel B. New's upcoming solo EP Cabot Cove, a collection of songs inspired by book titles referenced in the TV series Murder, She Wrote, starring Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury. James's performance will be on YouTube later this week.

Mr. Gilboe's interview was recorded at the Music Hall, furnished by the Dramatists Guild Fund. Providing the Music Hall at DGF for writers to use at no charge is one of the many ways the Dramatists Guild Fund supports writers.
