This Sunday June 17th at 7 p.m., new composer Michael Finke and six vocally charged actors are bringing their concert "Other People's Relationships - the music of michael finke" to the Laurie Beechman Theater on 42nd Street and 9th Avenue.

The cast of singers includes Hannah Whitney (NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation Winner 2010), Sarah Naughton, Bryan Welnicki (upcoming "Stand Tall"), Danielle Eden ("Meet John Doe" at the Kennedy Center), Sergi Robles, and William Vaughn. "Other People's Relationships" premiered last October at Don't Tall Mama. However, for the concert on Sunday they are adding a live band, new music, and new performers to the show.

Here's how the concert is billed on the Beechman's website: "Other People's Relationships" is an original song cycle featuring the music of Michael Finke. After years of watching people's intimate and personal lives being exploited through gossip, judgement, and Facebook, he decided to write some songs about them. From dinosaurs to vibrators, to possibly even falling in love, six astonishing singers delve into the world of "Other People's Relationships." Musical theatre never felt so invasive.

Songs featured in the show include "Waiting For Us", "Drunk or High", "Salvador", "The Vibrator Song", "Dr. Stephen", "A Walk By the River", and more. Music varies in style from pop/rock, vaudeville, gospel, chorale, and contemporary musical theatre. The concert is set to last approximately 70 minutes.

Michael Finke is a New York based composer, music director, sound designer, and performer. He has written the book, music, and lyrics for full-length musicals such as "Goodnight, Stranger" (The Helen Mills Theater), "Caroline and George" (Concert at 440 Studios), "Other People's Relationships" (Don't Tell Mama), "Constitutional the Musical" (Kimmel Center), and "Reporting Live" (NYU), all of which have received public performances in New York. "Reporting Live" received an album recording at Dubway Studios boasting 16 singers and live 23 piece orchestra. "Reporting Live" is set to be a part of the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival. He is also the resident musical director for "the machine comedy collective", having contributed original music, songs, and sound design to 8 machine productions in the past year with the Bowery Poetry Club.

"Other People's Relationships - the music of michael finke" is set to perform this Sunday, June 17th at 7 p.m. Tickets for "Other People's Relationships" are $10 admission, and $15 dinner/drink minimum. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located under the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street (on the corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue). It is strongly encouraged to reserve tickets in advance by calling (212)-695-6909.
