Welcome to Merkin Concert Hall's 2010-11 season! Check out the new Ecstatic Music Festival and your returning favorites: New Sounds Live, Broadway Close Up, Tuesday Matinees, New York Festival of Song and the family-friendly Broadway Playhouse and Poppy Seed Players!

ECSTATIC MUSIC FESTIVAL
This winter, more than 150 composers, songwriters and performers who are re-defining contemporary music will come together at Merkin Concert Hall for collaborations exploring the fertile terrain between classical and popular music. The many collaborations in the festival include composers Nico Muhly and Valgeir Sigurðsson with the Chiara String Quartet, Clogs with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, electronic iconoclast Dan Deacon with So Percussion, Vijay Iyer with Darcy James Argue's Secret Society and Newspeak Ensemble, and many more!

NEW SOUNDS® LIVE

Hosted by WNYC's John Schaefer, this series returns for another adventurous season offering new ways to hear the ancient language of song. It is also a part of the new Ecstatic Music Festival, so you can include your favorite New Sounds® Live shows in your festival flex subscription!
