Emma's boyfriend left her. Her younger brother flew in to make sure she eats. She has papers to grade, a thesis to write and the rest of her life to figure out. Oh yeah, she's also been drinking and talking with serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer...there's also that.
The show will run Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm, with additional performances on Monday, October 7 at 8pm and Sunday, October 20 & 26 at 2pm. Tickets ($25; $15 students) may be purchased online at www.gbtheater.com or by calling Brown Paper Tickets at 1-800-838-3006.
feeling. began as a piece in Glass Bandit's Living Room Readings Series. "Though we were confident in Paul's gifts as a writer, and the breadth of his creative spirit in general, nothing could prepare us for what we were about to hear. Sadly, it is all too rare to come across something so spare, original, funny, and touching all anchored by such a unique and powerful female lead." said Glass Bandit's Producing Director Carl Holder. Glass Bandit's went on to stage the production at their alma mater SUNY Purchase, in order to explore the show in a performance setting without full production costs. Paul then applied and was accepted to The Great Plain Theater Conference, where he worked on further developing the play, and was featured in American Theater Magazine. The upcoming production at The New Ohio will be the play's World Premiere.
