The long-running Menopause The Musical, which had been scheduled to close on April 23rd, has now extended its run to May 28th due to ticket demand.
Now in it's fifth year off-Broadway,
Menopause The Musical, at Playhouse 91 (316 East 91st Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues), "the musical parody chronicles the meeting of four women at a lingerie sale in Bloomingdale's fighting over a black lace bra, with nothing in common… but memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, chocolate binges, wrinkles, plastic surgery, hormones, not enough sex, too much sex, and much, much more," state press notes.
Menopause The Musical has criss-crossed the country on tour and in addition to New York, productions are now or have played in Boston,
Chicago, Cleveland, Orlando, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Detroit, Denver, Des Moines and Fort
Lauderdale. International productions are being planned for the United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and Israel.

Performances during these final weeks will be on Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8 PM, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3 PM, and Sundays at 1 and 5 PM.
