Memorial For Andrew Zerman Will Be Held April 29 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre  Image

A memorial for Andrew Zerman, the Broadway casting director who passed away on January 6, 2019, will be held on April 29 at 4 PM at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Zerman died in his sleep at age 62.

Zerman was a casting director at Johnson, Liff, and Zerman, and worked on the original Broadway runs of Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and more.

In addition, he served as a coach for young talent in musical theatre.

According to his obituary, Zerman is survived by his loving and devoted sister and brother, Lenore and Jared (Amy), nephews and nieces, Mitchell and Adam Zerman, and Gemma and Gillian Balk, and Sandy and Samantha Richardson. He was predeceased by his parents, Miriam and Melvyn Zerman.
