2012 Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award nominee Melissa van Der Schyff (Bonnie & Clyde), fellow 2012 Drama Desk Award nominee, Claybourne Elder (One Arm, also seen in Bonnie & Clyde) and Darren Ritchie (Broadway's Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure, Dracula, the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors) will star in a special industry reading of Vincent Delaney's new play Foreclosure, presented by Mondays DArk Theatre Company as part of the TRU ("Theater Resources Unlimited") New Play Reading Series, on Monday, June 4 at 7:00 PM at the Roy Arias Off-Broadway Theater in Manhattan.

Joanna Howard and Rebecca Fisher round out the cast of the special reading, which will be directed by David Lee.

In a Southern California neighborhood ravaged by foreclosure, two couples struggle with the balance between friendship and crossing the line. Foreclosure takes a sharply comedic look at the collapse at the American ideal that one can truly have a home. Foreclosure was a finalist and of three selections chosen for the Theater Resources Unlimited's TRU Voices New Plays Reading Series.

Delaney is a Core Alumnus of the Playwrights Center, a former McKnight and Bush Foundation Fellow and member of the Seattle Rep Writers Group. His work has been produced and developed at numerous festivals and workshops including the Guthrie, Humana Festival, Children's Theatre Company and Orlando Shakespeare Festival, among others. A Jerome Commission, Heideman, and Virtual Theatre Project New Play Award recipient, Delaney's work Ampersand won the 2012 Reva Shiner Award from the Bloomington Playwrights Project.

The Roy Arias Off-Broadway Theater is located at 300 West 43rd Street, Suite 500. Reservations are required and can be placed by calling (212) 714-7628.
