Megan Hilty and Brian Gallagher Announce That They're Expecting!

The Broadway Baby Boom continues! As if their family wasn't already adorable enough, Megan Hilty and husband Brian Gallagher have just announced via Twitter that they're expecting their second child. Their first, a daughter named Viola, recently celebrated her second birthday with a Christmas-themed birthday party.

The super cute Twitter announcement, pictured below, shows Gallagher downing a glass of wine and wearing a shirt that says, "Drinking for two," while Hilty is surrounded by pickles, cupcakes, and cookies-and polishing off a pint of ice cream-wearing a shirt that says "Eating for two." Congratulations to the happy couple, and get ready for those Twitter polls speculating all about the Hilty-Gallagher clan's newest addition!

While Megan Hilty rose to prominence for her roles in Broadway musicals including her performance as Glinda the Good Witch in WICKED, she is perhaps most recognizable for her portrayal of seasoned triple-threat Ivy Lynn in NBC's musical drama SMASH. She followed up the series with a starring role on the comedy SEAN SAVES THE WORLD and this past spring, Hilty received critical acclaim for her role of Brooke Ashton in the Roundabout Theater Company's revival of NOISES OFF. She has earned nominations for a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Drama League Award and won a Broadway.com Audience Award for Favorite Featured Actress in a Play. Earlier this year, Hilty released a live album comprising of songs from her recent concert tour, entitled "Megan Hilty Live at the Café Carlyle."
