Popular stage and screen star Megan Hilty is familiar to audiences of all different mediums thanks to her work onstage and on screens large and small and the multi-talented triple-threat shares a specific dream role and imparts a fond memory of working on the Broadway adaptation of 9-TO-5 as part of a new interview.
Looking back at 9-TO-5 and reflecting on rubbing elbows with country music icon and the show's composer/lyricist, Dolly Parton, Hilty shares that the experience was "terrifying" at first.
Additionally, Hilty says, "But the minute I met her, she totally put me at ease. She is one if the most loving people I've ever met and it was an honor to have worked with her in that capacity."
As for what dream roles Hilty would enjoy pursuing in the future, near and far, she cites a noted Stephen Sondheim musical standout, SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET.
"I've always wanted to play Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD," Hilty remarks.
