A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. With weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters .

BroadwayWorld will be profiling the hits of the Great White Way that continue to draw crowds after months, years, and (in some cases) decades. Meet the current cast of Broadway's MATILDA below!

MATILDA THE MUSICAL, produced by The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, opened in April 2013 at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44thStreet) to rapturous reviews and has been celebrated on 10 "Top Ten" lists for 2013. The production has received four Tony Awards and a Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theater for each of the four girls who shared the title role, two Outer Critics Circle Awards, five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. The original Broadway cast featured Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon, Milly Shapiro, Bertie Carvel and Lauren Ward.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL is directed by Tony Award® winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage), who helms this production with a book by Tony Award®-winning playwright Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Australian comedian, musician and composer Tim Minchin.


PAIGE BRADY (Matilda)

Age ten, from the Philadelphia area, is elated to be making her Broadway debut! Regional: The Music Man (Walnut Street Theatre). Paige also amuses her creative mind through art, writing, and reading. Special thanks to teachers, mentors and David Doan for their support and guidance. Love to mom, dad, sister Brooke, pug Bijou, family and friends.

GABRIELLA PIZZOLO (Matilda)

Broadway debut for a lifelong Roald Dahl enthusiast. Regional: Young Cosette, Susan Walker, Dagmar Hanson, Marta von Trapp. Everlasting gratitude and love to Dad, Mom, Gillian, family, friends, Orlando's School of Dance, Susan Wright, and the theater community in the capital district of New York.

RIPLEY SOBO (Matilda)

Broadway: Once (Ivonka). Film: Winter's Tale, Warner Bros. (Abby). Thank you to: Nani/Saperstein Management, James O., Terry O. To her parents, family and friends: thank you for your endless guidance, support and love. Most of all, to her brother "buddy," her biggest fan and best friend.

AVA ULLOA (Matilda)

Ava is thrilled to be making her Broadway debut at the age of nine. Theatre Credits: Numerous community productions. Thanks to all teachers and mentors for their love and support. MATT HARRINGTON (Mr. Wormwood)

LESLI MARGHERITA (Mrs. Wormwood)

Broadway debut! She received the Laurence Olivier Award for her performance in Zorro the Musical in London's West End. A California native, her national tour/regional credits include Kiss Me, Kate; Show Boat; Man of La Mancha; The Grönholm Method; Little Shop of Horrors; Spamalot; Grease; Aida; West Side Story; See What I Wanna See...you get it. NATALIE VENETIA BELCON (Mrs. Phelps)

JENNIFER BOWLES (The Acrobat, U/S Mrs. Phelps, Miss Honey)
