A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. With weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters .

BroadwayWorld will be profiling the hits of the Great White Way that continue to draw crowds after months, years, and (in some cases) decades. Meet the current cast of Broadway's MAMMA MIA! below!

Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical Mamma Mia! became the 9th longest-running show in Broadway history, a record previously held by the landmark musical Rent. The show has also surpassed the record breaking runs of legendary musicals such as Miss Saigon; Fiddler on the Roof; Hello, Dolly!; Annie; 42nd Street, My Fair Lady and the original run of Cabaret. Now celebrating 13 smash hit years and over 5,000 performances on Broadway at The Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street),Mamma Mia! is one of the most successful musicals of all time anywhere in the world and is one of only 5 musicals to have run for over 10 years on Broadway. The original cast included: Louise Pitre, Judy Kaye, David W. Keeley, Ken Marks, Karen Mason and Dean Nolen. Notable replacements have included: Carolee Carmello, John Dossett, Dee Hoty, Allison Case, Beth Leavel, Aaron Lazar, Zak Resnick, Clarke Thorell and more.

Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs and directed by Phyllida Lloyd, Mamma Mia! is Judy Craymer's vision of writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolding on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they had last visited 20 years ago. Songs including "Dancing Queen," "The Winner Takes It All," "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me" are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter.
