Miss Saigon, currently booking for performances through to Saturday 25th October 2014, will make its highly anticipated return to the West End on Saturday 3 May 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year. Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's epic musical has played in 300 cities in 15 different languages, winning awards around the world since the sensational record-breaking run at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane 25 years ago. This epic love story tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with an American GI Chris--but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon.

JON JON BRIONES
THE ENGINEER

Jon Jon Briones was born and raised in the Philippines and now resides in Los Angeles, California. He first ventured abroad in 1989 to join in the original London cast of Miss Saigon and has subsequently played the role of the Engineer in Germany, US Tour, Asian Tour, back home in the Philippines, a return to London's West End for its final year and most recently a UK Tour. Recently he has been involved in the pre-Broadway development of a new musical, Allegiance with Lea Salonga and George Takei. Since moving to Los Angeles he has appeared in many shows, including playing the title character in The Romance of Magno Rubio at [Inside] the Ford which earned him both LA Weekly and Ovation Best Lead Actor nominations, and in a new work, Sweet Karma as the lead character, Vichear Lam. Some other favorite roles in Los Angeles, New York and around the globe include: Fredrik Egerman in A Little Night Music, Enjolras in Les Miserables, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Tateh in Ragtime, Lion in the The Wiz, Laertes in Hamlet, Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods, Slovitch in Fools, Man 1 in Closer Than Ever, and Lukas in Peregrinasyon with Ma-Yi Theater Company. Television guest star appearances include Las Vegas, Sons of Anarchy, Bones, The Mentalist, Monk, Southland, Miami Medical, General Hospital, Law & Order LA and Moonlight. Film credits include: Model Home, Blood Ransom, The Fifth Voyage of Sinbad, Breathe, Brown Soup Thing, An Immigrant Girl's Journey, Proud American, Finding Foosball, Potluck, Feast and Yokai.

EVA NOBLEZADA
KIM

Eva Noblezada makes her professional and West End debut in Miss Saigon after being spotted when she reached the finals of the prestigious 'National High School Music Theater Awards' aka the 'Jimmy's' in the United States. Eva has spent her formative years playing roles in High School including Ariel in Footloose, Joanne in Godspell, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Maria in West Side Story. Eva is very excited and blessed to be a part of this opportunity. Eva would like to thank her family for being so supportive and loving. She is extremely thankful that God has opened this door and remembers that everything points back to Him.

HUGH MAYNARD
JOHN

West End Star Hugh Maynard, left his home town of Torbay, South Devon, for the bright lights of London to pursue his love of acting, singing and dancing. Having trained at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) and Arts Educational Schools, Hugh has worked across the board in television, music and theatre. While studying at Arts Ed, Hugh was chosen by Andrew Lloyd Webber's company to play the principle role of Simon Zealotes in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Since then Hugh has continued to have a successful career in London's West End with LION KING, NOTRE DAME de PARIS, FOLLIES, DANCING IN THE SREETS, and SISTER ACT. 2004 saw Hugh undertake the character of John in MISS SAIGON for the first time and to date is the youngest person in the history of the production to have been given the privilege of playing this role. As the sixth member of TENORS OF ROCK (TOR), Hugh has enjoyed UK, European and American success. Having performed concerts around the world, Hugh was proud to perform with TOR as part of the 2012 World Olympic Games concert. Their debut single, Brothers In Arms, reached No.20 in the official UK rock chart holding Bon Jovi off the spot. (for a whole week) January 2014 sees TOR begin their German tour.

KWANG-HO HONG

Kwang-Ho Hong is a major musical theatre actor and solo concert artist in Korea. Theatre credits include: Quasimodo in Notre Dame de Paris, Bebijang in Sweet Come to Me, Cervantes & Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Zhivago in Dr Zhivago, Dr. Henry Jekyll/ Edward Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde, The Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera. Other musicals credits include Miss Saigon, Sweeney Todd, The Wash, See What I Wanna See, First Love, The Last Empress. Solo concerts include: The 1st Hongcert (Solo Concert), The Music of the Night Gala Concert, The Snowing Village in October 2010 concert, and Queen Seon-duk concert. Awards: Winner of the 15th Korean Musical Awards 'Most Popular Actor' 2009

RACHELLE ANN GO
GIGI

Rachelle Ann Go is a well-known pop music artist and actress from the Philippines. She began her career after she won the Grand Prize in the reality talent search Search For A Star in 2004. Since then, she has done concerts locally and internationally, recorded seven albums, and made hits out of songs like Don't Cry Out Loud, We Wanted It All, Bakit, Alam Ng Ating Mga Puso, I Care, Honestly, and From The Start, which won her the Silver Prize at the Shanghai Music Festival in 2005. She was also a recipient of awards from MTV Pilipinas, MYX Music Awards and the Awit Awards. Rachelle Ann appears regularly in the weekly variety show Sunday All Stars. She has also been seen in ASAP, Party Pilipinas, Protégé, Diva, Nita Negrita, and Indio, among other shows. Rachelle Ann made her theater debut as Ariel in the Atlantis Production of Disney's Little Mermaid in 2011, which earned her the Best Actress Award for a Musical in the Broadway World Awards. This was followed by another Disney heroine role where she played Jane Porter in the musical adaptation of Tarzan in 2013.

JULIA ABUEVA
ENSEMBLE

At 18, Julia is no stranger to the stage. She has to her credit 15 musicals in Singapore and Philippines, and played Cinderella in Resorts World Manila's production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic 'Cinderella'. Julia started performing at the tender age of 7 and has since travelled to perform in concerts in the Philippines, China, Indonesia and the US. Julia has also dabbled in film (voice for animated films) and TV (Singapore). Noteworthy performances include opening for the 23rd and 25th South East Asian Games, 2009 APEC for U.S. President Barack Obama and guest performance with David Foster and Michael Bolton at the David Foster and Friends concert in Singapore. Julia was recognized in the Philippines as Best Child Performer in the 2007 ALIW Awards and was profiled in 2008 by Oprah Winfrey as one of the 'World's Smartest and Most Talented Kids'.

Natalie trained at the Urdang Academy. MARIA GRACIANO
ENSEMBLE

Maria Graciano studied musical theatre at the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam, where she received her Bachelors degree in 2001. That same year she mde her professional debut in the original Dutch production of Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, starting out as a swing position and eventually moving up to assistant dance captain. In 2003, Maria moved to Germany to become dance captain for the original German production, and in 2004 she became understudy for the role of "Aida". In 2005, she moved on to become dance supervisor for the original Korea production, as well as for the German/Austrian/Swiss touring production. In 2006 Maria made her West End debut in the original cast of Wicked as an ensemble member and dance captain. In 2007 she went back to Germany to becme swing and dance captain in the original cast of Stuttgart. In 2010 Maria moved back to Amsterdam to work as a swing and dance captain in Ben Elton's We Will Rock You, followed by Cameron Mackintosh's Miss Saigon in 2011 where she was a swing and understudy for "Gigi." She choreographed her first show in 2012, Soul Celebration, which toured through Holland.

SIMON HARDWICK
DANCE CAPTIAN & SWING

Simon began his training at Stuart Stage School in West Yorkshire and studied musical theatre on a full scholarship at Performer's College in Essex. Simon has recently completed a successful run as Al in the West End revival of A Chorus Line at the London Palladium. Previous theatre work includes; The Lover in Tommy (English Theatre, Frankfurt); the National Tour of Footloose, the workshop of the new musical The Waterbabies, Smokey Joe's Cafe (Landor); Disney's High School Musical and High School Musical 2 at Hammersmith Apollo and UK Tours; Wicked (Palladium Theatre, Stuttgart); Grease (Piccadilly Theatre), original London cast of Wicked (Apollo Victoria) and Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida at Coliseum Theatre in Essen, Germany. Simon has recently completed shooting the lead role in the short film Sophie's Fortune and was Assistant Choreographer on Good Morning Midnight for Drew McOnie.

KURT KANSLEY
ENSEMBLE

Kurt Kansley was born in South Africa and grew up in Australia where he trained in dramatic arts (Monash University) and Music (The Melba Conservatorium). In Australia, Kurt appeared in productions of Godspell, The Grand Hotel, Only Heaven Knows, Show Boat (directed by Hal Prince), RENT (directed by Michael Grief), Naked Boys Singing, I Do in Caroline Springs and Hair. Kurt was also in the original Australian cast of Disney's The Lion King covering the role of Simba. After a year he was invited to join the West End cast of the show and was seen playing the roles of Simba and Banzai. Kurt later appeared in UK and European tours of Rock Around the Clock, The 12 Tenors and Hair (directed by Gary Lloyd) playing the role of Berger.

KITTIPHUN KITTIPAKAPOM
ENSEMBLE

Kittiphun was born in Bangkok, Thailand (September 20, 1991). He began his musical studies when he was four years old. He first studied piano and began his classical singing at the age of fifteen. He earned his high school diploma from the College of Music, Mahidol University, Majoring in Opera Singing. He is now in his fourth year, majoring in Singing, at the university. Kittiphun has achieved much as a young singer. He was a member of Thailand Philharmonic Choir, Mahidol Symphony Choir, Mahidol University Chamber Choir, and Mahidol University Boy's Choir. With Mahidol University Choir, Kittiphun has competed second prize in University Choir Competition 2011 (Thailand) at College of Music Mahidol University. In 2012 he has also competed The 12th Moscow International Competition of Children's and Youth Choirs Festival "Moscow Sounds" (MICYCF 2012) during April 26 - May 2, 2012 in Moscow, Russia, and won first prize for Mixed Youth Choir as well as being awarded Laureate of the Festival. His last won silver medals from Slovakia Cantat 2013 Choir Competition, held in Bratislava, Slovakia.

DAVID KAR-HING LEE
ENSEMBLE

Malaysian born David has worked in theatre, radio, television and film. His eclectic career started as a West End performer and he went on to work as an artistic producer, adjudicator of dance, actor and choreographer. West End highlights include the original London Production of Fame - The Musical, original production of Miss Saigon at the Drury Lane Theatre, Walt Disney's original production of Beauty & the Beast, Oh! What A Night, original production of The King & I at the London Palladium, The Lion King and the world premier of the smash hit musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He has also featured on various original cast albums. His radio & TV work includes Saigon - Year of The Cat, comedy play Wild Thing, Beijing's Slowest Elevator, The Interpreter, Avenue Of Eternal Peace and in Series 9 of Spooks on BBC television he played the role of secret agent Huang Fu Xing.

MITCH LEOW
SWING

Mitch Leow hails from Singapore, where he trained with Singapore Dance Theatre and The Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company. He graduated from Millennium Dance Theatre College in Hampstead, London. In the recent years, Mitch has worked on The Lion King (Lyceum, London), Turandot (Royal Opera House), Madam Butterfly (Coliseum, English National Opera), Be Mine (Robin Howard Theatre) and Barnum (Chichester Festival Theatre). He performs for the charitable organisation TheatreMAD and is an avid circus aerialist.

ELA LISONDRA
SWING

The versatile Ela Lisondra makes her West End debut in this role. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, she has performed internationally, notably in Paris, Belgium, Macau, and Hong Kong, racking in accolades most recently as 2013 World Champion in the World Salsa Festival held in Hong Kong and 2012 Champion of Hong Kong's Best Dance Crew in Jazz/Contemporary category. In her latest stint as principal dancer at the Festival of the Lion King at Hong Kong Disneyland, she has also successfully answered the call to perform as a female lead singer, actor, aerialist and even a puppeteer! Ela is so grateful for her opportunity to be part of the Miss Saigon revival and she would like to thank her family, friends and teachers for all of their love and support as she continues bringing pride and honour to her beloved home, the Philippines.

CAROLYN MAITLAND

Carolyn is originally from Cowes on the Isle of Wight and trained at The Elmhurst School of Dance & Performing Arts. TANYA MANALANG
ENSEMBLE

Tanya Manalang began her formal training in Manila at age 6. By 8 she has made her professional musical theatre debut in an adaptation of CS Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Trumpets - Meralco Theatre, Manila) where she played the role of Lucy Pevensie. She has participated in several workshops and was part of the following showcases: Godspell, Whistle Down The Wind, and Footloose. Her other theater credits include: Kaos (Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila), Carla in In The Heights (Atlantis Productions - Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, Manila), Liesl in The Sound of Music (Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila), and Tuptim in The King And I (Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila).

CHRISTIAN REY MARBELLA
ENSEMBLE

Christian Rey is ecstatic to be continuing his journey with Miss Saigon, after doing it in 4 different productions (Manila, Asian Tour, 1st and 2nd U.K. National Tour), closing it in 2006 playing the role of THUY. Theatre includes: LUNTHA in The King and I (Newport Performing Arts Theater Manila, Philippines and The Village Theater Washington, U.S.A.); RAVANA in Ballet Philippines' production of Rama Hari 2012 (Cultural Center of the Philippines, Manila); PETER in Jesus Christ Superstar (The Village Theater, Washington U.S.A.); The Full Monty; Show Boat; Beauty and The Beast (all for The Village Theater, Washington U.S.A.) and R&H's Cinderella (Newport Performing Arts Theater Manila, Philippines) just to name a few.

KANAKO NAKANO

Training: Kanako was born and raised in Japan and has lived in the UK since 1997 and graduated in performing arts from Millennium Performing Arts ( former Millennium Dance 2000) as Best Performer of the Year. Theatre includes: Cynthia in Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Palace Theatre), Fox in Little Sunshine, Little Rainfall (UK tour & Geneva), West Side Story ( Grange Park Opera, HMP Erlestoke) Madam Butterfly (ENO), Liat in South Pacific (UK tour), Angel George, u/s Tuptim, Lady Thiang in The King and I (Helix, Dublin), Ensemble and u/s Gigi in Miss Saigon (UK tour). Television includes: Yoko in Peep Show (Channel 4), Japanese Waitress in 118 118 advert, Another Sky (NTV),Children in Need, Alan Titchmarsh Show, Paul O'Grady Show, Showtime at the Stadium.

THAO NGUYEN
ENSEMBLE

Thao was born in 1994 in London of Vietnamese parents. During the Vietnam War, her uncle served as a jet pilot in the Republic of Viet Nam Air Force, and her grandfather was a Captain in the Republic of Viet Nam Army. Throughout her school life, Thao was an active participant in music and drama activities. Two years ago, on commencing her A levels, Thao decided to try her hand at musical theatre, attending a performing arts school in Fulham for three hours each Saturday morning, where her triple threat potential was fully realised by her singing teacher, who put her forward to audition for Miss Saigon. In the past two years, she has won a Korean YouTube singing contest, performed for Princess Anne, performed at the O2, and was selected from thousands of UK performing arts students to perform the opening solo of a show at the Albert Hall.

SAORI ODA
SWING

Training: Urdang Academy in 2008 as Student of the Year with a Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre in London. Previously trained in classical singing and classical ballet in her home country of Japan. TRAINING: Ariel acquired his training from theater institutions such as Repertory Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino, New Voice Company, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts London (RADA) Master Class in Manila under acting coach and author of "In-Depth Acting", Dee Cannon. THEATRE: Currently, he is performing in the theatre show "The Golden Mickeys" at Hong Kong Disneyland. ROMEO SALAZAR
ENSEMBLE

Filipino-German Romeo was born in Manila, Philippines. He is proud and happy to be back in the West End and in his former theatre The Prince Edward, where he last appeared 2007 in Mary Poppins. He recently appeared in the Swedish production of Miss Saigon at the Malmö Opera, as well as finished a succesful UK and Australia Arena Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, understudying and playing the role of Simon Zealotes. Apart from being a member of the German Premier Cast of Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Romeo also took part in the CD recordings of the said musicals. Performing the role of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in 2000-2001 in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, he is the only Asian actor to date to perform the role in any professional western production of the show. Other theatre credits include, European Premier of Cy Coleman's The Life, Cats, Starlight Express, West Side Story, Chess, Evita, Hair, Carmen, Elegies for Punks and Raging Queens. The 25th anniversary of Miss Saigon will be his 6th production of the show (UK Tour and Portugal, Germany, Austria and Sweden) and has sung it in three different languages. He has danced and choreographed in various television shows in the Philippines and Germany. Industrial and commercial credits include TV adverts and show for Pepsi, Carlsberg, Toyota, Sony, Swatch, Avon and Sara Lee.

JORDAN SHAW
ENSEMBLE

Training: Ridgeway Studios, The Brit School and The Arts Educational Schools London. Theatre (whilst training): Francis Lockwood in Betty Blue Eyes and Legally Blonde. Jordan also performed as a dancer at the WOS Awards 2013 and a Soloist on Friday Night is Music Night BBC Radio 2. Upon graduating Jordan went on to make his professional debut in the cast of The Scottsboro Boys at the Young Vic where he was given the role of Swing/Dance Captain. Jordan is thrilled to be making his West End debut in Miss Saigon and would like to thank his family, friends and teachers for all their support and guidance.

Niall is from Co. Wicklow in Ireland. Training: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. MARSHA SONGCOME
ENSEMBLE

Marsha is originally from Thailand, but grew up in Sweden. She trained at Dansforum's Performing Arts School in Gothenburg (Sweden) and graduated in 2012. Credit whilst training included: Rizzo in Grease, Sophie in Mamma Mia, dancer in The Blues Mothers, Mary Kay Imagine, Bingolotto 20 years, Dinner shows and Revues. Marshas first role after graduating was playing Jasmins attendant in the European premiere of Disney's Aladdin the musical (Fredericia Teater and Copenhagen Royal Opera House, Denmark). She also worked as a lead-soloist for the german AIDA cruiseship and recently she played Miss Saigon at Malmö Opera in Sweden. Marsha is very excited to be making her West End debut in Miss Saigon.

ELOISA AMALIA TAN
ENSEMBLE

Eloisa Amalia Tan is an Indonesian dancer, singer and actress from Holland. She started dancing at a young age which became one of her biggest passion. Starting with Latin/Ballroom dancing and Hiphop, dancing, singing and acting has led to a profession interest. She studied at the Dance Academy 'Lucia Marthas' in Amsterdam and graduated at the age of 17 in 2010. After her study she performed as an ensemble swing in the Dutch production of Miss Saigon, Joop van den Ende producties (2011-2012). Besides Miss Saigon she also attended as a Freelancer and has worked/performed in several gigs as: TV Commercials, Videoclips, Modeling, Hostess and the Dinnershow RTL '21 on Air!' (August-December 2013).

CHRISTIAN TANAMAL
ENSEMBLE

Christian graduated from the Fontys Dance Academy. He got singing lessons by Edward Hoepelman and Jeroen Manuhutu. He participated in acting workshops(Kemna Casting) by Will van Kralingen and Thom Hoffman. Christian played different roles in various Dutch and German Musicals like Sister Act, Miss Saigon, Tarzan, The Lion King, Aïda, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Move and Jeans. He appeared in the Dutch soap Opera "Goede tijden, Slechte tijden", "de Co-assistent" and "Max adventures". He did some voice recording for different movies/series. THAO VILAYVONG
ENSEMBLE

Thao began his training as a gymnast at the age of 10. Since then his acrobat skills, combined with his love of dancing, have afforded him great success internationally with shows such as Peter Pan the never ending story (Europe tour), Le Rêve Wynn Las Vegas (USA), Cats (UK tour), Romeo et Juliette (Paris), Notre-Dame de Paris (London), Bounce (UK and Germany) and several productions with the Paris Bastille Opera. Thao's varied style bridges Hip Hop, Classical and Jazz dancing.

AMADEUS WILLIAMS
ENSEMBLE

Amadeus Williams was born in Curaçao but raised in The Netherlands. His Parents are Dutch and Portugese. From 14-24 Amadeus was an elite level gymnast in the Netherlands and part of the Porutgese national gymnastics team. Amadeus studied performing arts at the Lucia Marthas institute of Performing Arts in Amsterdam from which he recently graduated. Whilst training Amadeus performed in several school productions and commercial events. Amadeus works as a gymnastics choreographer and teaches acrobatics at several schools for performing arts in the Netherlands.

GERALD ZARCILLA
ENSEMBLE

Gerald started martial arts at the early age of 8. Starting with Karate for 5 years until he reached black belt. Having a love for martial arts he also tried of different fighting styles which include, Thai boxing, Aikido and Kempo Jujitsu. At age 13 he started gymnastics and has continued it ever since. Four years later he felt the urge to compete in a San Shou (Chinese kick boxing) competition in which he managed to win the Junior National Championship and also came second the following year. Gerald started his professional career as an acrobat in a Pantomime, Peter Pan in the North Wales Theatre. He has then gone on to work in a musical called Notre Dame De Paris which has toured Italy and Asia for the past 12 years. He has worked on numerous live shows around Europe including Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story Arena Show. Also he has featured in various commercials for Pepsi, Vodafone and Tekken 5 and appear in films such as Surviving Evil and Shanghai. Gerald feels very privileged and lucky to be a part of Miss Saigon.
