El Mago Pop begins performances on Thursday, August 17, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 W. 47th Street, New York). This strictly limited engagement will disappear after just two weeks. 

Inspired by the idea of challenging the limits of the impossible, El Mago Pop takes a journey through the extraordinary. Through a show defined by surprise, fantasy, sensibility, rhythm and emotion, the audience experience Antonio Diaz's close-up magic and his most unusual & spectacular illusions. El Mago Pop is a tribute to life and to the hope it instills in us. At its core, El Mago Pop is an existential reminder of all those dreams and illusions that awakened our consciousness in the earliest stages of our lives, so that we never forget who we are.

Antonio Díaz, El Mago Pop, graduated in Dramatic Art from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. At the age of 20 he created his first troupe and in 2008 he was awarded the National Magic Award.

Capable of breaking all records, from 2017 to 2020, El Mago Pop is right now the artist in Spain that has sold the most tickets for 4 consecutive years, exceeding 2M viewers. In 2018 he was positioned as the highest grossing illusionist in the world (according to Forbes magazine). Following this milestone he was awarded a plaque on the Gran Vía in Madrid.

Since 2013, and thanks to his television shows on DMAX, which have made him known artistically as "El Mago Pop", he has been able to bring his magic to more than 150 countries around the world and start his international career. . Later, with his program "Res és Impossible" on TV3, where he manages to be audience leader in summers, and it has been 4 consecutive years now.

In 2021, El Mago Pop became the Magic Star on NETFLIX with the show "Magic for Humans by el Mago Pop", broadcasted in 192 countries, thus consolidating its internationalization.
