Award-winning author Charles Mee will attend The Milk Can Theatre's production of his play Trojan Women 2.0 at its Saturday, September 23rd 3:00 p.m. performance. The playwright will lead the audience in a talk-back immediately following the performance.
Trojan Women 2.0, directed by Lauren Reinhard, "sets the play by Euripides in modern times, in which we see Troy in ruins and a world reduced to such disarray and anguish that it will never recover again but will instead spread death and disorder in all directions," according to notes. The play runs in rep with Bethany Larsen's The Uncertainty Principle.
Both shows feature a design team of Carrie Mossman (scenic design), Michael
Gugliotti (lighting design), David Withrow (costume design) and Nick Moore
(sound design/original composition).
The performance schedule is as follows: Saturday, September 9 through Sunday, September 24, 2006, Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:00 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.
