McDormand, Tomei, Etc. Set for 'President's Men' Reading

An all-star cast will headline Naked Angels' September 18th reading of the classic 1976 political drama All the President's Men.  The evening will take place at Skylight (275 Hudson Street).

The reading, which will feature David Marshall Grant's adaptation of William Goldman's Oscar-winning screenplay (itself adapted from the book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward), will star Blythe Danner, Ned Eisenberg, Gina Gershon, Richard Kind, Bruce MacVittie, Frances McDormand, Geoffrey Nauffts, Tim Ransom, Ron Rifkin, David Strathairn, Fisher Stevens, Marisa Tomei, Sam Waterston, Bradley White, with special guest Sam Seder.  John Turturro will direct.

All the President's Men concerns the revelation of details behind the Watergate scandal.  The film, directed by Alan J. Pakula, starred Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford, Hal Holbrook, Jason Robards (who won an Oscar for his work), Jane Alexander and more.

The 8 PM performance will be preceded by 6 PM cocktails.
