Married couple and frequent co-stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley are set to perform a one-night-only concert in Los Angeles as part of the Reprise! Broadway's Best series on August 13th at the Ford Amphitheatre at 7:30 PM.

The two will perform songs from their concert act "Opposite You," which was also turned into a CD for PS Classics. Audiences can expect showtunes and standards by the likes of Stephen Sondheim and Irving Berlin.

Mazzie recently appeared as the voluptuous Lalume in the Encores! production of Kismet, and before that in the starry Actors' Fund benefit concert of On the Twentieth Century. She received Tony nominations for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate, Passion and Ragtime, and other Broadway credits include Man of La Mancha, Into the Woods and Big River. At Encores!, she also appeared in Out of This World, and her off-Broadway credits include The Vagina Monologues, The Trojan Women: A Love Story and And the World Goes Round. Regional credits include 110 in the Shade and Brigadoon, both opposite Danieley.

Danieley has appeared on Broadway in The Full Monty and the 1997 revival of Candide. Playing the title role, he received a Drama Desk Award nomination and a Theatre World Award. Off-Broadway, he was seen in the original cast of Floyd Collins as well as in The Trojan Women: A Love Story and Dream True. Other credits include the Encores! productions of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Allegro and Strike Up the Band, and the world premiere production of Michael John LaChiusa's The Highest Yellow. He also played Cable in the Carnegie Hall concert of South Pacific.

The Ford Amphitheatre is located at 2580 Cahuenga Boulevard in East Hollywood, CA. Call (323) 461-3673 or www.fordamphitheatre.org for tickets.
