The one and only Mazarin returns to The Cutting Room Saturday, June 1, at 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of its new CD of all original music, "Live Forever."
Joining Doug and Marc Hochlerin and longtime Mazarin members Scott Duryea, Glenn Mack, and Wayne Sabosto, will be a stageful ofcelebrated artists also featured on the new recording. Among them are Ed Ryan, Joey Perez of Broken Arrow, Michelle Penn, and Lisa Ronson, not to mention Battalion Chief Pete Gannon, a piper with the FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, along with special guest artist, fiddler Eamonn O'Rourke, from Kathy Mattea's acclaimed country/bluegrass band.
Mazarin is the only band ever voted New York's No. 1 rock band three times by Good Times Magazine, whose original music is included in the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, and who represented New York City at the South by Southwest Festival, the famed Austin, Texas, showcase of bands from around the world.
When Mazarin, the ground-breaking Long Island band with its driving rocker style, takes the stage on June 1, they will prove beyond a doubt that rock 'n' roll lives on with new tunes, including a bit of political satire from the new CD, plus some timeless Mazarin favorites.
Audiences will not want to miss the high energy band described as "a nonstop dance machine," known for having as much fun as their audiences.
