Maine-based songwriter Max Garcia Conover will be playing an album release show at The Living Room on May 25 at 10:30pm.

Burrow is the debut album from Max García Conover. Recorded in Max's attic studio during winter in Maine, these songs are about digging in, or trying to, through the work that we do and the art that we make.

Burrow was mixed, mastered, and co-produced by Pete Morse (Red Vault Recording). Pete also wrote and recorded the electric guitars. The album is being released through Clip Records, a Portland-based independent label. The artwork is by painter Meghan Howland.

A portion of sales of Burrow goes to Evergreen Health Services (formerly AIDS Community Services), a nonprofit working to provide medical services and support to marginalized populations.

Max García Conover has released two EPs (EP #1, Birches Lo) and is set to release his first full-length album, Burrow, in April 2013 through Clip Records. His quick-fingered, mostly acoustic songs are grounded in natural landscapes and flicker with revelation. In 2012 he was named Maine's Best New Act in the Portland Best Music Awards.

The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow St, New York, NY. For details, click here, and for tickets, follow this link.
