According to recent reports Max Crumm, currently starring in the lead role of Danny Zuko in the musical Grease, will be leaving the show on July 20th, 2008.
Crumm and his co-star
Laura Osnes were chosen for the leads in the musical in the twelve week long nationally televised competition, "
Grease: You're The One That I Want". The two winners were announced during the live finale episode of the NBC talent competition series last March and have been with the production every since.
Grease opened on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, August 19, 2007 following preview performances which began on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award-winner

Grease" an "You're the One That I Want" both of which were #1 hits on the Billboard Top 100 list. These songs will be heard in addition to the Jacobs/Casey songs made famous by the original stage production including "Summer Nights," "
Greased Lightnin'" and "We Go Together."
