Joining Scott will be George Merrick (Honeymoon in Vegas; South Pacific) and 2014 Drama Desk Award nominee for London Wall Julia Coffey (The Trip to Bountiful - Off Broadway). The cast also features Brandon Espinoza (Gypsy; Les Miserables), Kristen Martin (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark), Courtney Markowitz (Jeckyll & Hyde; Spring Awakening) and RJ Brown (HBO's Girls; The CW's The Carrie Diaries).
Barry Ivan is directing the reading and Mark Stys will serve as stage manager. Jeffrey Malone is the sound designer and Richard F. Grasso is assistant to the director.
POWER PLAYS is a full-length comedy-drama that follows a modern Everyman named Mark through a series of episodes, from young adulthood to middle age, that force him to seize or relinquish power. These darkly-comedic scenes witness Mark struggling with his love life, tangling with America's hot-button political issues and wrestling with his sexuality.
