"For the third year in a row, Marymount Manhattan – a liberal arts college in New York City and home to a premiere performing arts program – partnered with the award-winning York Theatre Company to offer performers, ages 18-27, a New Musical Theatre Intensive. The Intensive began on July 10th and included seminars with musical theatre professionals and daily structured classes in dance and performance technique to enhance students' technical skills. Participants explored and performed new musical theatre compositions by emerging writers whose work has been featured at the York Theatre, and also had the opportunity to see musicals on and off Broadway," according to York notes.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Call 212-935-5824 x 21 to reserve a seat.
