A host of Broadway actors will be part of the presentations of Sacrifices on March 18th and 19th.
Sacrifices is about a scholar who becomes an unlikely hero by leading society away from animal sacrifice and bloodshed to a new direction of kindness and prayer. Directed by Broadway vet Robert Sella, Sacrifices will be performed at the Emerging Artist Theatre's New Work Series on March 18th at 7:00 PM. Andy Roninson is the music director. Nicholas Ibarguen is the stage manager.

The cast will feature Tony nominee Mary Testa (Wicked, 42nd Street), Drama Desk nominee Eddie Korbich (A Gentleman's Guide, The Drowsy Chaperone), Jordan Ahnquist, Michael Bernardi (Fiddler on the Roof), Ebony Blake, Brandon Gill, Lisa Johanson, Michael Maliakel, Maya Naff, Destinee Rea (Amelie), David Rhodes, and Jeff Williams (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).
Sacrifices, written and developed in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and New York, has a book by Eli Kaplan-Wildmann, music by Yonatan Cnaan, and lyrics by Andrew Zachary Cohen. The musical tells the story of a "city torn apart by corruption and hate, leading both to its destruction and to the creation of a new life-one without bloodshed or sacrifice."
