Fifty years ago, former Mary Kay Cosmetics employee and rare insider Jackie Brown was a legal secretary in Dallas looking for a bigger and brighter future for herself and her family. After the tragic assassination of President Kennedy, there was a heightened sense of urgency for change across the country; Brown grabbed the brass ring and the rest is... not history.

For years, the published stories of Mary Kay's company were filled with gaps. Brown, in her first book, "Ask ME About Mary Kay: The trust story behind the number sticker on the pink Cadillac," tells the real story of loyalty and betrayal, joy and heartbreak, recognition and disappointment.

Released by Strategic Book Publishing Rights Agency (SBPRA), the author's first book reveals her secrets for making it big in the corporate world, particularly highlighting her early successes in selling and recruiting, which laid the foundation for Mary Kay Cosmetics. As the company's achievements spiraled high, Brown began to see the flaws from within.

Brown tells her story of tragedy the only way she knows how: the truth. While the book reads like fiction, it's an honest story of the breach of trust so great that a battle began between the two motivated and business-savvy women.

This page-turner attracted reviews from new fans and former colleagues alike. As one reviewer wrote, "If you are inspired by stories about people who overcome a multitude of adverse circumstances to achieve a lofty goal, you will enjoy this book."

SBPRA is proud to highlight Brown's book, which continues to increase its Kindle sales every month.

"This rags to riches story that started shortly after a tragic time in America is a wonderful read," said Robert Fletcher, CEO of SBPRA. "It provides insight only Jackie Brown knew from her firsthand experience, thrilling audiences young and old."

Brown's book is currently for sale on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, NOOK, Kindle and more.
