Smokey voiced jazz singer Mary Foster Conklin will pay tribute to songwriter Matt Dennis tomorrow, April 18, as she does on her award winning album, Blues for Breakfast: Remembering Matt Dennis. Ms. Conklin's unique interpretations of cabaret and jazz standards will be showcased in this week of the Any Wednesday Series.

Any Wednesday celebrates the best in jazz, cabaret and theater performers in the spacious third floor events space at the Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble at 66th and Broadway in New York City. Each performance begins at 6:00 p.m., lasts approximately a half hour and is followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the artists. As always, the events are free and open to the public.

Upcoming performers include: Terese Genecco with Barry Lloyd (April 25), Karen Akers (May 2), Steven Brinberg with guests Karen Mason and Hugh Panaro (May 9), Louise Rogers (May 16), Jessica Molaskey with John Pizzarelli (May 23), Maude Maggart (May 30), Sue Matsuki (July 18).
