Award-winning actress and comedian Mary Dimino's current one woman show BIG DUMMY: Me & My Old Man, has been selected to be apart of the Encore series in the 2015 United Solo Festival of Theatre Row. BIG DUMMY enjoyed a sold out, multiple engagement run in 2014, where it won the United Solo Award for First Sold Out Show.

Mary Dimino is a MAC Award Winner for Outstanding Female Comedian and a Gracie Allen Award winning actress for her role in the PBS film FAT: What No One is Telling You. Mary Dimino's solo play SCARED SKINNY: A one (hundred pound lighter) woman show, won the Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Solo Show in The New York International Fringe Festival. Her book, Scared Skinny No More, based on her autobiographical show, is published by Sunbury Press and debuted number ten on their Best Seller List.

Mary Dimino's TV appearances include HBO's Chris Rock Show, VH-1's Best Week Ever, Comedy Central's Graham Norton Effect, Comedy Central's Upright Citizens Brigade, American Movie Classics' Interstitial Movie Moments, NBC's Today Show, Meredith Vieira, sketches on Late Shows with David Letterman and Conan O'Brien, and numerous national commercials. She has been heard on SIRIUS XM Radio, Howard Stern 100 News Leiberman Live. On stage she played the Maid of Honor in Tony & Tina's Wedding, Carmella in Surprise, and last season landed the role of Vidalia in the off-Broadway hit My Big Gay Italian Funeral at St. Luke's Theater.

BIG DUMMY, the nickname of Dimino's Dad, given to him by Grandma, chronicles growing up "smarter than your father in a funny, factory-working family from Queens." Noticing her father was "different" at a young age, Dimino's hard-learned gift was to realize that Dad's brilliant, as is.

Dimino's solo play BIG DUMMY: Me & My Old Man, has been critically acclaimed by media outlets. It was noted as "one of the best-written most humane shows ever to grace the Fringe-a perfect script," by prominent FringeNYC reviewer Hy Bender. "The only production in the festival that made me cry. Considering this is a comedy filled with laughs, that's an extraordinary achievement. There are lines-especially near the end-that I'll remember for the rest of my life," continued Mr. Bender.

Performance of BIG DUMMY: Me & My Old Man will be on Theatre Row October 22, 9PM located at 410 West 42nd Street, New York City. Christine Renee Miller directs.
