Marsha Mason in Conversation with NY Women in Film & TV

Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe Award winning actress Marsha Mason, starring in A Feminine Ending at Playwrights Horizons, will be hosted by the New York Women in Film and Television for an evening entitled "Conversations With…" on Monday October 22. The event begins at 6:30PM. at the Tribeca Cinemas, 54 Varick Street with a reception to follow.

Michael Cristofer, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning Broadway playwright, and distinguished actor, director, screenwriter whose project "Amazing Grace" starred Mason will be conducting the interview as she talks about her illustrious career in film, television and theater.

Mason follows a list of other distinguished women with whom New York Women in Film and Television has hosted such as Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Lynn Redgrave, Sally Field, Lee Grant, S. Epatha Merkerson, and  Jane Rosenthal.

Marsha Mason is a 4-time Academy Award nominee, 2-time Golden Globe winner and stage veteran. She received Oscar nominations for The Goodbye Girl, Cinderella Liberty, Only When I Laugh and Chapter Two. She received Golden Globe wins for The Goodbye Girl and Cinderella Liberty. Notable performances on Broadway include The Good Doctor, Roundabout's Night of the Iguana and the recent Steel Magnolias. She also appeared as Hecuba at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Her best-selling memoir, "Journey: A Personal Odyssey" was published in the fall of 2000 by Simon & Schuster. A Feminine Ending a new play by Sarah Treem and directed by Blair Brown will open on Wednesday, October 17 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater.
