Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will perform for the last time as "Drew" on Broadway Thursday, September 9 before headlining the First National Tour of the smash hit musical ROCK OF AGES, debuting in Chicago on September 21. Breakout star Joey Taranto to take over the role of "Drew" at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Additional cast changes to rock you like a hurricane include Mitchell Jarvis playing his final performance as "Lonny" on Sunday, September 5 and taking over the role of "Stacee Jaxx" from James Carpinello, who will play his final performance on a date to be determined. Jay Klaitz, recently of Lend Me a Tenor, to begin performances as "Lonny" on Monday, September 6.

Joey Taranto made his Broadway debut in ROCK OF AGES as a vacation swing and, to date, has only played the role of "Drew" 9 times. And Ladies and Gentleman, that's all it takes to know he's got the star power to take on the role of "Drew," who crushes such songs as "I Wanna Rock," "Heaven," "Oh, Sherrie" and so many more eight times a week. A native of Louisiana, Joey grew up traveling and performing with his family in gospel choirs. Regionally he proved he could rock in Rent and Tommy.

Jay Klaitz's Broadway credits include Lend Me a Tenor and High Fidelity. Other credits include: Expats (The New Group); Frozen River (Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury winner ‘08); Super Powers (Tribeca Film Festival Best Short '07); guest appearances in "Rescue Me," and "Law & Order: CI."
