Marc Maron Coming to Boulder Theater & Paramount Theatre, 7/24-25

Marc Maron will be performing live at Boulder Theater on July 24 at 8:00 p.m. and at Paramount Theatre on July 25 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, May 1 at 10 a.m.

Tickets for Boulder Theater are $29.50, and can be purchased at BoulderTheater.com, by phone 303-786-7030, or in person at the Boulder Theater Box Office (2032 14th Street, Boulder, CO).

For over twenty years, Marc Maron has been writing and performing raw, honest and thought-provoking comedy for print, stage, radio, online and television. A legend in the stand-up community, Maron has appeared on HBO, Letterman, Leno, Craig Ferguson, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Real Time with Bill Maher, John Oliver's New York Stand-Up, and two Comedy Central Presents specials. He has appeared on Conan O'Brien more than any other comedian.

On the small screen, Maron's critically acclaimed half hour scripted series, Maron has been renewed for a third season by IFC. The show was created, written, and produced by Maron and he also directed episodes in season 2. Maron can currently be found on Netflix.

Maron's podcast, WTF with Marc Maron premiered in September 2009 and has since featured compelling monologues and interviews with iconic personalities such as Conan O'Brien, Louis CK, Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain, Judd Apatow and Ben Stiller. It has become a worldwide phenomenon averaging 4 million downloads each month. WTF regularly hits #1 on the iTunes charts, was named the #1 Comedy Podcast by LA Weekly as well as The AV Club. It has also been called a "must-listen" by Vanity Fair and The New York Times, among many others. Select WTF episodes began airing on public radio stations across the US in June 2010. A limited edition collection of the first 100 episodes of WTF with Marc Maron with video from Live WTF recorded in Brooklyn is available as a two-disc DVD box set on ASpecialThing Records.

In 2012, Marc was included in TIME Magazine's 100 short list of the Most Influential People and was nominated for two Comedy Central 2012 Comedy Awards: Best Comedy Podcast and Best Comedy App. He also travels the world performing sold out stand up shows as well as Live WTF stage shows, and was given the honor of delivering the Keynote Address at the 2011 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.
