Penis envy, growing pains and cupcakes are the prevalent concerns of modern man according to the latest new writing from Manhattan Theatre Source (the Source). TestoGenius is the latest from the Source's homegrown ‘genius' festivals, focusing on what makes manhood tick in the post-feminist, post-millennial, post-metro-sexual world.
Fathers' Day 2010 is the jumping-off point for TestoGenius and promises a blend of poignant, personal memories and dude-fuelled fun. Contributing writers' include Fringe and off off Broadway favorites Ed Malin and Jonathan Kravetz and emerging talents Eric Holmes and Renee Rankin.
The week-long festival runs from Monday 21st June thru Saturday June 26th.
There will be a special testo-related improv nights on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th June.
