Mandy Patinkin will partner with Susan Stroman on an upcoming workshop of Taylor Mac's The Last Two People on Earth: An Apocalyptic Vaudeville at The Abrons Arts Center from December 14 - 31, 2013, it was announced today.

The show is officially billed as: "It's the end of the world as we know it. A flood of biblical proportions leaves us with only two people on Earth, who discover their common language is song and dance. Together they chronicle the rise and fall, and hopeful rise again of humankind, through music that runs the gamut from Rodgers & Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim all the way to R.E.M. and Queen."

This fully-staged workshop presentation will give audiences an opportunity to be part of the discovery process as these artists continues to fine tune a remarkable new music theater piece.

Performed by Mandy Patinkin and Taylor Mac, with direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, and music direction by Paul Ford.

Mandy Patinkin's Broadway credits include Evita, Sunday in the Park With George, The Secret Garden and The Wild Party. He currently appears in the Showtime series Homeland.
