The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will present two concert performances of the original musical Sing Me Home Sunday, July 20 at 8 p.m. and Monday, July 21 at 1 p.m.
This brand new, contemporary musical, with book by Amber Romina Cassell and music and lyrics by singer/songwriter Kristy Hanson features thirteen original songs in the pop-rock genre, with influences ranging from rhythm and blues to country. Broadway favorites Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked, In the Heights, Aida) and Telly Leung (Wicked, RENT, Allegiance) will perform this exhilarating score, accompanied by musical director and accomplished singer/songwriter Angela Parrish and her band.

The Sing Me Home creative team, who is based out of Los Angeles, will be offering a preview concert performance at Los Angeles' premiere cabaret venue, Rockwell Table & Stage, on July 13th at 7pm. The evening will feature performances from creatives Hanson and Parrish, and a lineup of L.A.'s favorite voices, including Dominic Barnes, Julie Garnye, Curt Mega, Kate Pazakis, Kelli Provart, Haviland Stillwell and more.
In order to raise funds and awareness for the project, Sing Me Home has launched an online fundraising campaign through Indiegogo.com, where exclusive behind-the-scenes perks including pre-show champagne toasts with both the Los Angeles and New York companies, visits to rehearsal, digital downloads of the show's demos and more are being offered to contributors.
