Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' Mamma Mia!, which press notes describe as "the world's most successful musical written, produced and directed by women," is once again behind this year's Breast Cancer Awareness month.

"The exclusive Mamma Mia! 'Rock Chick Supremo' T-shirt plays a leading role in supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and now "Dancing Queens" everywhere can purchase a memento from the hit show and also raise 'Money Money Money' with profits going directly to BCRF," state press materials.

Mamma Mia!'s  popular "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt, specially designed by producer Judy Craymer to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, first went on sale in October 2002 in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The t-shirt continues to be the most popular item on sale at theatres in the U.S., London, Germany and the International Tour.  A new design unveiled by Judy Craymer in celebration of Broadway's fifth anniversary on October 18th is now available.

Craymer said: "As we celebrate Mamma Mia!'s 5th Anniversary on Broadway, I am thrilled to introduce a new design of the T-shirt and hope that it will continue to raise money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Mamma Mia! is a female-focused story. It's been written, produced and directed by three women and women are also at the heart of the story. Breast cancer is predominantly a female health issue, although it directly affects both men and women in so many ways. We felt that The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was a deserving and relevant cause, and we're delighted to be able to help in any way we can."

Proceeds from sales after production costs, go directly to the deserving and highly relevant cause. Over 25,000 shirts have been purchased in North America alone. Mamma Mia! globally has contributed a total of over $400,000 to breast cancer charities around the world including BCRF, which the show has supported for the last several years.

"Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island.  On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.  Songs including "Dancing Queen,' 'The Winner Takes It All,' 'Money, Money, Money' and 'Take A Chance on Me' are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter."

Led by a creative team of Judy Craymer (Producer), Catherine Johnson (Book) and Phyllida Lloyd (Director), Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' Mamma Mia! opened at London's Prince Edward Theatre in April, 1999.  The show has broken virtually every known box office record around the world.

Mamma Mia! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.
