According to published reports, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON star, Benjamin Walker, and actress Mamie Gummer, daught of Meryl Streep, wed this past weekend in an intimate ceremomy at the home of Streep and husband Don Gummer.

Walker will next be seen on the big screen as the title character in 20th Century Fox's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. On stage, Walker portrayed Bertram Cates in the Broadway revival of Inherit the Wind (2007) opposite two-time Tony Award winners Christopher Plummer and Brian Dennehy, and Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare, under the direction of Doug Hughes. In April 2008, Walker appeared as the Chevalier Danceny in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses directed by Rufus Norris. Walker's other theater credits include The Arrangements at the Atlantic Theatre Company (NYC - 2005), the Lincoln Center Theatre workshop of Spring Awakening (NYC - 2005), Lady Windermere's Fan (Williamstown Theatre Festival - 2005), and Romeo and Juliet (Williamstown Theatre Festival - 2006).

Mamie Gummer made her off-Broadway debut alongside Michael C. Hall in the premiere of Noah Haidle's Mr. Marmalade, for which she won a Theatre World Award. In 2007, she received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for her performance in Theresa Rebeck's The Water's Edge. She made her adult motion picture debut with a minor role in Lasse Hallström's The Hoax, starring Richard Gere. In 2007, Gummer starred with her mother in Michael Cunningham's film adaptation of Susan Minot's novel Evening, playing her mother as a young woman. Gummer portrayed Sally Adams in the 2008 HBO mini series John Adams and made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-nominated revival of Les liaisons dangereuses in 2008. She now stars in the ABC medical show Off the Map with Zach Gilford, and Valerie Cruz. This spring, Gummer opened the off-Broadway production of The School For Lies at Classic Stage Company.

Congrats to the happy couple!
