Composer, songwriter, and performing artist Malcolm Bruce will celebrate the release of his new album at The Iridium on May 4. Recorded in Nashville and London with the help of a successful crowd funding campaign with PledgeMusic, From Slaveocracy To Salvation showcases Malcolm's truly original sound. His band includes drummer Louie Palmer (Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Janek Gwizdala): www.pledgemusic.com/projects/malcolmbruce

Malcolm's 2016 US and UK tour will not only have him playing music from his new record, but also select songs from his father's catalogue and the music of Cream to honor Jack's incredible legacy.

Over the years Malcolm performed shows with his father, and appeared on several of Jack's recordings including 'Shadows in the Air' on tracks with Eric Clapton, 'More Jack than God' featuring Dr. John, and Jack's final album 'Silver Rails' recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 2014.

This summer, Malcolm plans to tour with Cream lyricist Pete Brown and his band set to stop in NYC at The Iridium on July 8 and 9 for a tribute to his father. "A Tribute To Jack Bruce" will feature along with Malcolm and Pete, Clem Clempson (Humble Pie), Mark Clarke (Mountain and Colosseum), Robby Ameen (Ruben Blades, Dizzy Gillespie, Paul Simon) and special guests.
