"Project Runway"s Malan Breton will host a Spring/Summer 2008 Trunk Show to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Tuesday November 20 from 9AM-5PM at the Warick Hotel (65 West 54th Street).  For details call 212-247-2700.

Malan Breton explains; "This season, I drew inspiration from iconic images in visual design, film, and music. Color, Light, Sound, a young Elizabeth Taylor, Gaudi, true evolution in the truest feminine form. The Gershwin concerto in G, New friends, the limelight, the low life, the jazz age and the opportunity for a new world."

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Malan is a self taught designer. Malan catapulted into American pop culture in 2006 when he joined the cast of Bravo TV's "Project Runway" 3.   He launched Malan by Malan Breton during New York fashion week in 2004 and presented again last season at Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week. He is now in his sixth season as an independent designer.

Malan is heavily involved with the following charities: Action Against Hunger, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, CACF Coalition for Asian American Children & Families, Chef's for Humanity, and Live out Loud.
