Maggie's Little Theater to Close Season with GUYS & DOLLS

Maggie's Little Theater, the resident theatre of the century-old St. Margaret's Parish Hall at 79th Place and Juniper Valley Road in Middle Village announces that Guys and Dolls will close its eighth season. Guys and Dolls, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows is a classic of the American musical theatre. Guys and Dolls is based on stories and characters created by Damon Runyon. Step back in time to 1950s New York City in the newly-renovated and air-conditioned parish hall on July 16, 22, & 23 at 8:00pm or on July 17 & 24 at 2:30pm. Set in New York City, a group of small-time gamblers does their best to outwit the police to stage an illegal dice game while avoiding and eventually assisting the Save-a-Soul mission. Guys and Dolls features classic Broadway hits including "Luck Be a Lady", "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat", "A Bushel and a Peck", and, of course, "Guys and Dolls".

Guys and Dolls features stage direction by Barbara Auriemma , musical direction by Frank Auriemma, and choreography by Nic Anthony Calabro. New faces join the established repertory for this rousing production including Joe Paciullo, Anthony Edward George Faubion, Ken Voisin, Alex Jamison, Mark York, Ellen Armet, Victor Jaquez, Julia Marshall, Mary Pascale, Brianna Sheridan, Jim Gillespie, Scott I.
