This fall, Macy's will once again invite America to THINK PINK in an effort to draw attention, heighten awareness and raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the month of October, women - survivors and those affected by the disease - will have the opportunity to salute Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and look good while doing good with commemorative pink product from an array of fashion, cosmetics brands and home merchandise.

"Macy's has been a long-time supporter of the breast cancer awareness movement, not only during the month of October, but throughout the year," said Martine Reardon, chief marketing officer for Macy's. "Our dedication to this cause has afforded us the opportunity to invite various partners to join the fight from our vendors that design exclusive merchandise to employees who volunteer their time and, of course, to the customers who give generously through shopping at our stores. This year, in addition to our dedicated Pink Shop we are pleased to support the Ralph Lauren brand in their quest to raise awareness through the Pink Pony Fund and expand the offering to further the fight against breast cancer."

Macy's makes it fashionable and easy to think pink. For the first time ever, Macy's has joined forces with Pink Pony, Ralph Lauren's worldwide initiative in the fight against cancer, by offering a special collection of items at "Pink Pony" shops in 80 Macy's locations across the country, as well as on macys.com/pink. Twenty-five percent of the purchase price of Pink Pony products will benefit the Pink Pony Fund of the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation for causes devoted to cancer awareness, education and research. In addition, from Oct. 1-14, Macy's customers who show their support by purchasing the limited-edition Pink Pony pin for $5 ($3.50 of which benefits the Pink Pony Fund) will receive a special 20 percent discount on a wide assortment of merchandise at all full-line Macy's stores nationwide with applied exclusions.

Continuing its show of support, Macy's will once again host the online "Pink Shop" featuring a wide variety of pink product from beloved designers and brands, a visit to macys.com/pink will give customers another opportunity to fashionably join in the crusade against breast cancer. Coach; Cuisinart; KitchenAid; The North Face; Under Armour, along with exclusive product from Ideology and Style & Co., are just a few of the brands to support the cause by donating a portion of the sale of special pink merchandise to various organizations.
