The People's Improv Theater has announced that it will open My Bar Mitzvah Brunch, directed by Andrew Warner and written by & starring Seth Finkelstein, on April 7, 2017.
In this moving and hilarious one-man show, Seth Finkelstein explores the trials and tribulations of growing up as a Jew while struggling with mental health issues and the everyday struggles of adolescence. With heartwarming stories, riotous insights, and only slightly embarrassing tales of teenage angst, My Bar Mitzvah Brunch is an emotional tale that is more relevant than ever.

Andrew Warner has been doing comedy of one sort or another in New York City since he moved here in 2008. Trained at the UCB and the Annoyance in improv, Andrew is no stranger to the worlds of sketch, storytelling, and character work as well. You can find him all around town, performing with his beloved sketch team Laser Baby as part of BoogieManja, or with one of his myriad improv teams. Seth Finkelstein is a writer and performer based in NYC. He graduated from NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing, and has studied improv at the Annoyance, UCB, Reckless Second City Chicago. One time while working at summer camp he convinced a group of kids he was the puppeteer on ALF.
