MTC's MASTER CLASS Now Begins Performances 6/14 Due to GOOD PEOPLE Extension

Due to the previously announced extension of GOOD PEOPLE, MTC is announcing a revised schedule for the new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning MASTER CLASS, directed by Stephen Wadsworth, featuring Olivier Award nominee Sierra Boggess and Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly.

MASTER CLASS will now begin previews Tuesday, June 14 with opening night set for Thursday, July 7. Tickets to the limited engagement of MASTER CLASS are now on sale through Sunday, August 14.

Terrence McNally's award-winning play about Maria Callas takes us to one of her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did, making her the most celebrated, the most reviled and the most controversial singer of her times.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Executive Producer Barry Grove, MTC has become one of the country's most prominent and prestigious theatre companies. Over the past three decades, MTC productions have earned a total of 17 Tony Awards and six Pulitzer Prizes, an accomplishment unparalleled by a New York theatrical institution.
