The Manhattan Theatre Club world premiere production of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's Based on a Totally True Story will begin previews tonight at New York City Center – Stage II for a Tuesday, April 11 opening.
Directed by Michael Bush, the cast features: Carson Elrod (Ethan Keene), Erik Heger (Tyler, Apple Boy, Kim's Guy, Hot L.A. Guy), Kristine Nielsen (Mary Ellen), Pedro Pascal (Michael Sullivan), and Michael Tucker (Ethan's Dad)The creative team will feature: Anna Louizos (sets), Linda Cho (costumes), Tracy Klainer (lighting), and Ryan Rummery (sound)."Ethan Keene (Elrod) is a young playwright and comic book writer who's on the verge of breaking through.
