With crowds swelling at each session, MOSTLY MARCUS, the totally unique acoustic duo residency in which acclaimed NYC jazz vocalist-songwriter and two-time 2015 Best Male Vocalist Nominee MARCUS GOLDHABER strips the Great American Songbook "to the bone" like never before, has been extended for the third time at Bar Thalia, Symphony Space's newest home for jazz. The latest extension of the monthly residency starts this Sunday, (Feb. 7) with special featured vocalist Aimee Allen, and guitarist Ron Jackson. Dates continue: March 6, April 3, May 1, and June 5.

See what the buzz is about now through June -- its one-year anniversary -- as MOSTLY MARCUS, continues the first Sunday of every month (Feb. 7-June 5), two performances per engagement, at Bar Thalia, 2537 Broadway (at 95th St.), NYC, at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Cover is $5. More info and reservations at 646-597-7340 or www.symphonyspace.org/bar-thalia.

Goldhaber is currently nominated for Best Male Vocalist in the BroadwayWorld Awards, and also was nominated in the fall as Best Male Vocalist (alongside Tony Bennett!) in the Hot House Jazz Awards.

Upcoming MOSTLY MARCUS featured vocalists scheduled are: Tessa Souter (March 6, with guitarist Tony Romano), Melissa Stylianou (April 3, with guitarist Ron Jackson), Champian Fulton (May 1, with guitarist Ron Affif), and Gabrielle Stravelli (June 5, with guitarist Ron Affif).

Laying bare his voice while exposing the strength of his heralded songwriting, Goldhaber teams with a different top jazz guitarist and featured vocalist with each show for an evening of playful spontaneity.

Marcus is touring behind his fourth album, A Lovely Way to Spend An Evening (Fallen Apple/The Orchard), which earned Honorable Mentions for Best Album of 2014 in the Quincy (MA) Patriot-Ledger and The Improper. The powerful, 12-track collection reintroduces some of Goldhaber's favorite standards alongside five originals.
