MJ Rodriguez, Adam Shapiro to Sing 'Love' at Couture Fashion Week, 2/15

Fall in love with theater and fashion all over again when they share the spotlight for a special love-insprired fashion collection headed by live singing from Broadway and New York theater's best at this season's New York Couture Fashion Week (couturefashionweek.com). The event will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at The New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan.

The "Mon Amour" fashion collection will be shown amid the dazzling list of Broadway and New York theater performers from the non for profit organization BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE (www.BroadwaySingsforPride.com). Scheduled to appear are: Chondra Profit (Disney's The Lion King on Broadway), Romelda T. Benjamin (Broadway's Brooklyn, Pre-Broadway's Catch Me If You Can), MJ Rodriguez (Rent at New World Stages, 2011 Clive Barnes Award Winner), Adam Shapiro (HBO Film's The Normal Heart, Zorro The Musical International Tour), Rachel Lorin (Pop singer and star of Oxygen Network's The Next Big Thing), Noreen Crayton (Rent National Tour, Award-winning gospel recording artist), Kyle Motsinger (Off Broadway's Fancy Nancy the Musical), Ashley Tobias (American Idiot 2nd National/1st International Tour, Panic! The Musical), Jennifer Fouche (Off Broadway's Sistas: The Musical), Elissa Goldstein (NBC Universal's An Affirmative Act, Lady Peacock, Disney's National Tour of Grease On Ice), Brian Craft (Off-Broadway Revival of Let My People Come), Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves dancer/choreographer), Rori Nogee (Off-Broadway's Showgirls! The night which will feature the newest collection by founder Andres Aquino, and will feature Broadway performers from BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE (http://www.broadwaysingsforpride.com/) non for profit organization. Couture Fashion Week, the premiere couture fashion event in New York City since 2003. The audience will be treated to live musical performances and dance routines during Andres Aquino, fashion designer and Couture Fashion Week producer's newest collection. "Mon Amour" by Andres Aquino, is the new collection of elegant evening, cocktail and suit designs to dress the glamorous woman. "Mon Amour fitsperfectly with Valentine's weekend," says Mr. Aquino. "Let's celebrate love: the dearest sentiment among humans and a perfect tribute to glamorous and fashionable women."

This portion of Couture Fashion Week is being produced by Andres Aquino, Broadway Sings for Pride founder Neal B (http://www.nealb.tv/) and Artists Proof Productions. All musical talent for this portion is affiliated with Broadway Sings for Pride.

The official Couture Fashion Week After Party will follow the show with an array of Broadway and New York theater's best talent.

BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE is a non-for-profit charitable organization, which brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to promote LGBT equality through song.
