Senior actors prove they've Still Got It in The Geezer Game by Herb McCollom Jr. - part of Midtown International Theatre Festival.
A senior acting troupe from MI is making it's way to NYC to present a new comedy.
Doc's depressed and his over-the-hill friends are out of shape. So when they're hustled to play a charity touch football game against a much younger team, where should the smart money bet? Laughs abound as age and arthritis battle youth for every yard in the miss-match Bowl of the century. The cast features: Jack Galazca, Jeanne Pruett, Harry Stafford, Joe Arcel, Marian Busa, Rich Pientak, Linda Trygg, Terry Viviani. and Gary Turnquist, and Pete Podolski. The comedy is directed by Debbie Lannen, Artistic Director of the Still Got It Players. Playwright, Herb McCollom Jr., of Pennsylvania, a senior himself, felt his comedy is a perfect fit for senior actors. According to Artistic Director Debbie Lannen, works like these are hard to find. " Mr. McCollom's comedy fit the bill exactly. It is an entertaining new work with laughs throughout. It gives the audience the feeling of being right in the Scottish Pub making the plans for this momentous game right along with the characters onstage."Videos
