MIRACLE ON 47TH STREET

An Evening Benefit for Gods Love We Deliver

On December 15 at 7 & 9pm, the KingKongRoom at The Supper Club (

240 W. 47th St
) rang in the season with a one-night-only concert of new holiday songs as well as some traditional favorites.

Miracle on 47th Street featured performances by Laura Benanti (Nine), Stephanie Block (The Boy From Oz), Max von Essen (Dance of the Vampires), Deven May (Batboy: The Musical), Julia Murney (The Wild Party), and Randy Redd (Parade); and featured songs by some of musical theatre's newest and inspired composers including Jenny Giering & Beth Blatt (The Mistress Cycle), Pat Rasile (30 Something Something), and Stephen Flaherty & Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, A Man of No Importance). Cast Party favorite Jim Caruso hosted the evening, which was directed and produced by Jamie McGonnigal with musical direction by Mark Hartman.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to benefit God's Love We Deliver. GLWD is dedicated to improving the health and well being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition.
