Broadway favorites Lea Salonga and Darren Criss are both in New York City, and the duo recently met up at piano bar Marie's Crisis Cafe in the West Village, where they joined forces in a couple of performances to delight the crowd. Below, check out a special duet of Aladdin's "A Whole New World" and Les Miserables' "On My Own".

Salonga is best known for originating the role of Kim in "Miss Saigon" in 1989; she is also the first Asian actress to play the role of Eponine in "Les Miserables" on Broadway in 1993. She returned to the show as Fantine in the 2006 Broadway revival. In the summer of 2009, Salonga appeared in the workshop production of the new musical "Allegiance." Developed by "Star Trek" actor George Takei and Broadway producers Lorenzo Thione and Jay Kuo, "Allegiance" tells the story of a Japanese-American family in internment camps during World War II. Last fall, "Allegiance" held its world premiere at The Old Globe Theater in San Francisco, which broke the theater's box office records. The show targets a Broadway bow next year.

Darren Criss has topped the Billboard charts as a performer, solo artist and composer and stars as "Blaine Anderson" on FOX's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series "Glee." Prior to his television career, Criss garnered the attention of millions when he and his University of Michigan friends created "A Very Potter Musical," which became a viral phenomenon. Thereafter, they started StarKid Productions, writing and producing subsequent online hits like "Starship," "Me and My Dick" and "A Very Potter Sequel," with Criss providing the music and lyrics for the latter. In 2009, he dropped his self-released album Human, which landed on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. He made his film debut this summer in "Girl Most Likely," opposite Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening and Matt Dillon. He made his Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
