MCC Theater has announced the three productions comprising its upcoming 2007-8 season at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. The season will include MCC's first-ever full-scale musical production. In the press release, MCC Theater Artistic Directors Robert LuPone and Bernard Telsey stated, "The unique new voices represented in these three works have us wildly excited about the upcoming season, and we look forward to seeing the plays and our first-ever musical intersect with the New York audiences."

MCC Theater's 22nd Season is as follows, with casting and production teams to be announced:

- Grace, by Mick Gordon and AC Grayling, August 29-October 20, 2007

Seeing its New York Premiere, Grace "follows a noted scientist who confronts her atheist and maternal convictions when her son Tom decides to become a Christian minister. The mother-son conflicts soon catches up with the Tom's father and pregnant girlfriend, with an unexpected twist," state press notes.

- Spain, by Jim Knable, January 23-March 8, 2008

"Recently-divorced Barbara retreats into her very active imagination, in which she meets a sexy Conquistador.  Together, they embark on an adventure she has long dreamed of, and she finds her self-confidence through an unconventional form of the simple act of love."

The Black Suits, by Joe Iconis and Robert Maddock, May 14-July 5, 2008

"Chris rehearses his band relentlessly with the hopes of escaping his Long Island suburb, only nobody in his band wants to break out the way he does. MCC's first-ever musical follows Chris and his best friend John as they chase the seemingly impossible dream of being something significant."

New subscribers to the upcoming season can also purchase tickets to Neil LaBute's hotly anticipated play In a Dark Dark House for $33, saving $37. In a Dark Dark House is the third and final production of MCC's current season, running May 16-June 23, 2007 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, with a June 7th opening.
